9 Pink Places That We Love Madly

We’re celebrating the Millennial pink craze in fashion and design. Some Instagram-worthy spots are from bright magenta to stylish rose gold.

Pan y Pasteles, Alcala de Henares

Pan y Pasteles is located in Alcala de Henares. This historic university city is just outside Madrid. Its unique design features polished micro cement flooring and exposed brick walls. The ceiling also has an impressive art installation with over 12,000 strawberry lollipops. Ideo Arquitectura designed the modern bakery with magenta as its dominant color.

Pietro Nolita, New York City

It’s not surprising that Pietro Nolita is NYC’s most Instagram-worthy restaurant, thanks to its pastel rose interior. The family-owned restaurant serves healthy Italian food in a jewel-box setting. It features plaster walls, leather banquettes, and mid-century-style light fixtures, all in beautiful pink shades.

Kamehameha Snack-Bar, Montreal

Kamehameha Snack Bar is a sunny little piece of Hawaii located in downtown Montreal. It welcomes guests in a fun, island-inspired setting where everything, from the glossy walls to the reupholstered furniture rattan, has been painted pink. The sweet, rosy decor is enhanced by copper pots that hold plants.

Apeach Cafe, Busan

The Apeach Cafe is located in Busan’s KakaoFriend flagship shop. It is a modern shopping center themed around South Korea’s most loved messenger app, Apeach Cafe. The cotton candy space is named after the Apeach character, a genetically modified peach. It revolves around a shiny rose-clad service station with multiple seating arrangements.

Eloise at The Plaza in New York City

Based on children’s books, Eloise @ the Plaza is a story about a 6-year-old girl who lived in a posh NYC hotel. It transports guests of all ages to a magical land full of joy and color.

All themed facilities, from the Eloise Suite, which is cheerful and elegantly designed by Betsey Johnson, to the Eloise Shop, are decorated in sweet pink shades.

MaMa Kelly Restaurant in Amsterdam

Mama Kelly is back in Amsterdam after the success of its first industrial-themed location in The Hague. You can expect elegant interiors in salmon pink with oak wood floors and high ceilings. The restaurant serves the best lobster and chicken in town and has sweet feminine aesthetics.

NANAN Patisserie, Wroclaw

Wroclaw’s pink NANAN Patisserie has layers upon layers of deliciousness. Polish designers BUCK.STUDIO created this exquisite cake shop. It is decorated in vintage rose powder and has a central island counter where precious confections can be displayed as gemstones in a jeweler’s shop.

The Gallery Restaurant at Sketch in London

Sketch’s Gallery in Mayfair is like eating in a modern art gallery. India Mahdavi designed the monochromatic space, a feast for the eyes. Many David Shrigley drawings line the walls and glamorous pink velvet banquette seating. The white ceramic tableware is decorated with satirical drawings. Contrasting elements include the multicolored marble floor and the custom gray uniforms of the staff designed by Richard Nicoll.

La Muralla Roja, Calpe

Ricardo Bofill and built-in 1973 designed La Muralla Roja. It is a striking example of Arab-Mediterranean Architecture. This fortress-like structure, in various shades of red and pink, has interconnected patios and interior staircases and occasionally glimpses of the cerulean ocean.

This apartment building is very photogenic and can be found in Calpe, a town on the coast of Alicante in Spain.
